For this month’s Insta ♥♥♥ we’ve hand-picked some of our favourite accommodation to inspire your next out of the ordinary travel experience.
If you’ve drooled over the scenery in the ‘Outlander’ series (and Jamie Fraser) then Killiehuntly farmhouse is the place for you. The estate dates back to 1603 and with much love and attention to detail, the buildings have been restored to their original glory. @killiehuntly_farmhouse has been softened with a palette of greys, bare wooden floors strewn with striking rugs and simple, pared-back design.
In the Highlands closer to home, we’ve featured @pumphousepoint previously on the blog, but simply can’t get enough of their instagram images. Incredible scenery, gourmet treats from local Tasmanian providers, in-room spa treatments, loads of nature activities and photo opportunities in World Heritage wilderness, not to mention the local community of furry friends close by.
If room service, luxury linen bedding and late check-outs are your thing, take a look at @inbedwith.me. A travel site curating the most unique hotels and accommodations from all over the world. Captured and written by photographer Rhiannon Taylor, she asks the question, where are you staying tonight?
Finally, based in Barcelona, photographer Ruben Ortiz and interior designer Katty Schiebeck have created a platform that consolidates the innovative vision of architecture and interior design. Plenty of inspirational interiors and places to go and stay @somewhereiwouldliketolive.
